BEC Welcomes George Gwinnett College Head Coach, Jeremy Sheetinger

The Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) is proud to announce our next guest speaker for the 2026 Best Ever Coaches Clinic, George Gwinnett College Head Coach, Jeremy Sheetinger.

Jeremy Sheetinger, “Coach Sheets,” is going into his 22nd season in college baseball across all levels, and in his 7th season as the head coach at Georgia Gwinnett College. Since arriving in Lawrenceville back in 2019, Sheets has elevated the overall winning profile of the program but also has cemented GGC as one of the top small college programs in the country especially for offensive development.

The Grizzlies have averaged 50+ wins per season, have been awarded back-to-back National Players of the Year, have had the nation’s top ranked Team Offense in 4 of the last 5 seasons including leading the country in 11 different categories in 2025. The Grizzlies have led the country in Stolen Bases every season since becoming Head Coach with last year’s team establishing a new record across all levels of College Baseball with 374 Stolen Bases.

Sheets guided the Grizzlies to the 2021 NAIA World Series title, marking the program's first national championship. For those efforts, Sheets was named the Skip Bertman National Coach of the Year from the Collegiate Baseball Foundation. He is the first NAIA coach to earn the prestigious award since it was founded in 2013.

The Grizzlies have earned their way to SEVEN straight trips to the NAIA World Series and have helped 70+ players sign professionally, 51 within the past five seasons alone.

At GGC, Sheets has an overall record of 279-52, which is good for an 83% winning percentage in Green & Gray.
