OBA Acclerated Umpire Camps

Become a certified Baseball Umpire!

18 years or older and either have:

Become a certified OBA Umpire

5 years of training in one course
Rules, positioning and game management training from Baseball Ontario’s most experienced Instructors

For OBA certification, all virtual and one on-field components must be completed

Virtual sessions run 7 pm – 9:30 pm

Sessions will be interactive and use various techniques to teach the fundamentals of umpiring.

Tentative on-field sessions run 9 am – 4 pm

Morning sessions will include on field drills. Afternoon sessions will include umpiring live games, with feedback throughout the day.
