OBA Announces 2025 R. Jack Middlemass Scholarship Recipient

CAMBRIDGE - The Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) is proud to announce the recipient of the 2025 R. Jack Middlemass Scholarship, Diego Cartaya of the Mississauga SW Twins 18U Team.

Diego will be attending McMaster University in the fall to study Engineering.

The R. Jack Middlemass Memorial Scholarship was established out of love for Jack and inspired by Jack’s love for baseball and its athletes. In the spirit of Jack’s desire to help others achieve, the fund assists aspiring young people in pursuit of post secondary education. In helping further their scholastic endeavours, the scholarship provides recipients with greater opportunity to excel in life and contribute to the community.
